17 players share lead in Rating Chess

A total of 17 players shared the lead in the Tangail International Rating Chess Tournament after the 2nd round games at Bangabandhu Auditorium in Tangail Press Club Saturday, reports UNB.
FM Mehdi Hasan Parag, FM Khandakar Aminul Islam, FM Mohammad Javed, CM Mahtabuddin Ahmed, Sharif Hossain, SM Sharon, Abdullah Al Saif, Ikramul Haq Siam, Avik Sarker, Masum Hossain, Rabiul Bhuiyan, Abdul Momin, Matiur Rahman Mamun, Gias Uddin Mithu, Aminul Islam, Abzid Rahman and Faizul Anam earned 2 points each from their second round games to share the lead.
In 2nd round games, Parag beat Mohammad Mainuddin, Amin beat Subrata Biswas, Javed beat WIM Rni Hamid, Saif beat Moniruzzaman Moni, and Mahtab beat Sawkat Bin Osman.
