19 Bangladeshis rescued while being trafficked to India

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel rescued 19 Bangladesh nationals while they were being trafficked to India through Satkhira’s Gazipur frontier on Friday. The rescued people hail from different upazilas of Sunamganj, Gazipur, Mymensingh and Thakungoan districts. Tipped off, a BGB team conducted a drive at Gazipur border point and rescued the 19 in the morning, said Nayeb Subedar Haider Ali, BOP Commander of Gazipur border. They were handed over to Satkhira Sadar Police Station. A case was filed, according to a news agency.
