19 gold bars seized in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, Aug 25 (BSS): Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized 19 gold bars from Choigharia frontier in Sadar upazila of the district on Thursday.
Commander of BGB-33 Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Al Mahmud said tipped-off, a team of the force conducted a raid in the area around 10:35 am and recovered the gold bars weighing more than one and a half kilograms.
No arrest was made in the drive as the gold bars were recovered in an abandoned condition.
