198 bottles of Phensidyl seized in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Aug 22: The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) of Joypurhat camp seized 198 bottles of Phensidyl syrup at Khanjhonpur under Sadar Upazila in Jaypurhat district Friday.
Being tipped of, the RAB personnel raided the area and recovered the contraband item from a truck. Sources said, a smuggler was carrying those phensidyl in a truck. Mahabub Hossain (28), son of Abdur Rasid of village Vadsha in Sadar Upazila in Jaypurhat was arrested in this connection.
