1st death anniv of journo Mashuqul Huq today

The first death anniversary of senior journalist Mashuqul Huq will be observed today (Wednesday), says a press release.
Mr. Huq began his journalism career with The Bangladesh Observer and became its feature editor. Later he worked with The Daily Star and The Daily Telegraph. In his latest stint of journalism he served at The Financial Express. He retired as its Senior News Consultant.
Marking his first death anniversary, a dua mahfil has been arranged at Rahmat E Alam Islam Mission Orphanage at Tejgaon in Dhaka. The family members have requested the relatives, friends and well-wishers to join and pray for salvation of his departed soul.
