2 arrested with 2.08-kg hemp

Police arrested two people along with 2.08 kgs of hemp at Sandikona Bazar at Kendua upazila in Netrakona district on Tuesday. The arrestees were identified as Gaziur Rahamn, 50, a resident of Chakbatta village of the upazila, and Rajab Ali, 45, of Madhupur in Ishwarganj upazila. Abhiranjan Deb, officer-in-charge of Kendua Police Station, said being tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the two drug peddlers. Later, both were produced before a court, according to UNB.
