2 Bangladeshis picked up by BSF

SYLHET, Nov 17 (UNB): Indian Border Security Force (BSF) arrested a Bangladeshi youth from a stone quarry at Sripur in Jointapur upazila on Friday.
The victim was identified as Jahangir Alam, 26, son of Jahid Ali of Baurbhag South Thubang village of the upazila.
Border Guard Bangladesh sources said Alam entered the Indian territory and was detained by the BSF members in the area at about 8:30am.
The Indian border guards agreed to return the young man through legal way during a flag meeting held with BGB at about 11.00am.
Tension has gripped the stone quarries in the area following the incident.
Another message from Thakurgaon says: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up a Bangladeshi cattle trader from Mandumala border point in Baliadanga upazila early Saturday.
The victim was identified as Sabbir Hossain, 23, son of Ajabul alias Rezaul Islam of Jugirhat village of the same upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Baliadanga police station Asaduzzaman said Sabbir was detained by the BSF members in the area at about 4.00am while he was coming to Bangladesh with cows through the border from India.
