2 Bangladeshis shot by BSF in Thakurgaon

India’s Border Security Force personnel shot and injured two Bangladeshis in Baliadangi Upazila in Thakungoan district on Tuesday morning. The victims were identified as Idris Ali, 25, son of Kazimuddin of Taltola village and Chainu Miah, 30, son of Dudu Miah of Barsha village. Acting commander of BGB-30 Major Touhid Bin-Ishaq said a group of BSF troops opened fire on the two Bangladeshis near frontier Pillar No 382/2 at Rotnai broder when they were trying to cross the border around 4:00am, leaving them injured. BGB authorities sent a letter to BSF protesting the incidents and for holding a flag meeting, according to a news agency.
