2 BGB men killed in Dinajpur road crash

DINAJPUR: Two members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were killed as a truck crashed into their motorcycle in Fulbari upazila here on Friday.
The deceased were identified Al Amin, 20, son of Golam Mostafa of Laxmipur, and Rubel, 22, son of Abdul Khaleque of Sirajganj. They were posted at Dinajpur BGB Battalion-29.
The truck hit the bike of the two border guards at Rajarampur on Dinajpur-Dhaka highway around 1:30pm, leaving them dead on the spot, said Lt Col Zahidur Rashid, commanding officer of the battalion.
The BGB men met the accident while returning to the battalion after seizing Phensidyl syrup at Nawabganj in the upazila, he said, according to a news agency.
