2 bikers die in Magura road accident

Two motorcyclists were killed as a bus rammed the vehicle on Magura-Faridpur Highway in Kachhundi area in Magura district on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Shamsur Rahman Shamin, 29, son of Ekram Hossain of Sitarampur village and Obaidur, 27, of Garakhola village under Madhukhali upazila in Faridpur. Magura Highway Police sub-inspector (SI) Kumaresh Chandra said Shamim and Obaidur were spot dead when a speedy bus ran over the motorcycle in the afternoon. The bodies were handed over to their family members. None was arrested in this connection as the bus driver fled the spot immediately after the accident, according to a news agency.
