2 bikers killed in Faridpur road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Nagarkanda upazila in Faridpur on Wednesday. The dead are M Shahin, 35, son of Dr Nannu of Chowdhury Kanda village in Bhanga upazila, and his cousin M Ismail Hossain, 40. Nagarkanda Police Station sub-inspector Abul Kalam Azad said the accident took place in Vabukdia area around 8:30am while a speeding truck collided head-on with the motorcycle of Shahin and Ismail when they were overtaking another vehicle, leaving the duo dead on the spot, according to UNB.
