2 children drown in C\\\'nawabganj

Two children drowned in a pond at Chatrajitpur Fultala village in Shibganj Upazila in Chapainawabganj district. The deceased were identified as Munni, 12, daughter of Masud Rana and Sabina Khatun, 9, daughter of Mehedi Hasan of the area. Family sources said the two children went to bath in the pond where they drowned. Later, their family members and the locals recovered the dead bodies from the pond. Shibganj thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ashiqur Rahman confirmed the incident, according to UNB.
