2 college students die in Ctg accident

Students and local people have blocked the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway at the entrance of the southern divisional city and commercial hub of Bangladesh after a truck knocked down two college students, instantly killing them. The accident occurred in the Akbar Shah area near Baro Aouliar Mazar of the port city around 10:00am on Saturday. Deceased ‘Shamim’ and ‘Wahed’ were students of Mostafa Hakim Degree College. Akbar Shah Police Station OC Sadeep Kumar Das said a speeding truck, loaded with goods, ran over them when they were crossing the highway at that point. Locals rescued them and rushed them to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared them dead, according to bdnews24.com.
