2 commit suicide in Jessore

In separate incidents, two young men committed suicide in Bagharpara upazila of Jessore district and a suburb of the district town on Friday. In Bagharpara, a college student committed suicide by hanging himself from a mango tree at Mamudalipur village on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Masud Rana, 19, son of Jalal Mandal of the village. Family sources said Masud had a relationship of love with a girl in the area. He had a tiff with the girl over a trifling matter. Following the incident, Masud went to the house of the girl and committed suicide by hanging himself from a mango tree. Being informed, police recovered the body. In another incident, a young man committed suicide by hanging himself from a mango tree over a family feud in Murli Khan Para suburb of Jessore town on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Sagar, 20, son of Osman Sheikh of the area. Locals said Sagar hanged himself from a mango tree at about 8:00 pm. Later he was rushed to Jessore 250-bed Hospital where on-duty doctors declared him dead, according to UNB.
