2 crushed under train in dists

PABNA, Apr 15: A schoolboy was crushed under the wheels of a speeding coach at Joynagar on the Kushtia- Ishwardi highway Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Nayeem Hossain (14), a class nine student of Bharaimary high school and son of Rezawan Ali of village Jagannathpur in the Ishwardi Upazila.
Police and locals said that Nayeem was crushed to death when a Dhaka-bound coach of Shyamoli Poribabohan from Kushtia hit him at around 11.00am on Sunday.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Officer-in-charge Biman kumar Das of Ishwardi police Station.
A BSS report from Rajshahi adds: A DGFI personnel was crushed by a train in Kodomtala railway crossing under Boalia Police Station in Rajshahi city yesterday afternoon.
The victim was Mozaffar Hossain, 30, son of Nazir Uddin hailed from Narayanpur village in Parbatipur Upazila of Dinajpur district. He was a sainik of Rajshahi DGFI.
Quoting witnesses' police said a Chapainawabganj-bound commuter train crushed Mozaffar Hossain while he was crossing railway track at around 4pm.
