2 crushed under truck in Habiganj

At least two people, including a woman, were killed as a speedy truck crashed into a group of people in Madhabpur twon in Habiganj district on Thursday. One of the deceased was identified as Noor Hossain, supervisor of a local biscuit factory. Identity of the other deceased, a female aged around 29, could not be known. Witnesses said the truck ran over them in front of Roads and Highways Department Duck Bungalow on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Madhabpur upazila headquarters around 5pm, killing two people on the spot and injuring another one. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital for autopsy, according to UNB.
