2 die after inhaling toxic gas in Savar

SAVAR, May 11 (bdnews24.com): Two persons have died after inhaling toxic gas while cleaning a septic tank of a house in Savar's Ashulia.
The mishap occurred early Sunday morning at Narsinghapur, said Ashulia thana SI (sub-inspector) Ruhul Amin. The victims have been identified as Kismat Ali (41), and Hanif Ali (32).
Quoting the house owner, Amin said three men got into the tank. Hanif and Kismat went inside the tank first. The other, Subhan, came out as he felt suffocated.
Having received no response from the other two for long, the house owner informed the fire service of the matter. Fie service men pulled out their bodies from the tank.
EPZ (Export Processing Zone) fire service station officer Abdul Hamid said they died after inhaling poisonous gas.
