2 die in city road mishap

Two people, including a member of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), were spot-dead in a road mishap, near the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in the capital on Tuesday, police said.
The RAB member was identified as Ucchel Alam (39), but the other person could not be named immediately. The dead-bodies were taken to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka for autopsy.   
Tejgoan Thana Duty Officer Saiful Bashar told the FE that the RAB member was heading towards Farmgate from Jahangir Gate. A Mohakhali-bound private car ran over him while he was taking a u-turn with his motorbike, leaving him and the car driver spot dead.
On completion of the regular medical process, the dead-bodies would be handed over to their respective family members, he added.
