2 die in Ctg road accident

Two people, including a minor girl, were killed and two others injured in a road accident at Chandgaon in Chittagong city on Monday night. One of the deceased was identified as Awana, 7, daughter of Anisur Rahman of the area. Police, quoting locals, said a moving bus crashed into a rickshaw carrying the child and her father around 7:45pm, leaving the rickshaw-puller dead on the spot and three rickshaw passengers – Awana, her brother Ayaj and father Anisur Rahman – injured critically. The injured were rescued and whisked to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Awana dead. Hearing the death news of the child, local people took to the street and torched a bus, according to UNB.
