2 die in Dinajpur crash

Two people, including a school student, died in a road accident at Dinajpur’s Birganj Upazila on Sunday. At least 20 other bus passengers were also injured after the vehicle went off the road and landed in a ditch on the Birganj-Pirganj road around 9:30am. Birganj Police Station OC Arman Hossain said 14-year old Soma Rani Roy of the upazila’s Dangaparha village and 65-year old Malati Rani Roy from Kaharol Upazila died on the spot. Soma Rani was a grade-IX student of Birganj Government Girls High School. Police said several of the injured have been admitted to a local hospital, according to bdnews24.com.
