2 die in Kishoreganj road accident

Two people were killed and 25 others injured as a night coach plunged into a roadside ditch at Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj district on Monday. The identities of the deceased could not be known yet. Officer-in-charge of Pakundia Police Station Zakir Rabbani said the Tarail-bound bus of ‘Isha Kha Paribahan’ from Dhaka skidded off the road and fell into the ditch at Mirzapur village around 5:00am as its driver lost control over the vehicle, instantly killing two passengers, injuring many. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital for autopsy. The injured were rushed to different hospitals, including the Upazila Health Complex, he said, according to a news agency.
