2 die in Manikganj bus accident

A bus plunged into a ditch on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Manikganj Sadar upazila on Friday morning killing at least two people. Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Police and witnesses said a Dhaka-bound passenger bus of ‘Padma Line’, from Aricha Ghat, plunged into a roadside ditch at Muljan area under Golra union as its driver lost control over the vehicle, leaving two unidentified people dead on the spot around 10:45am. Being informed police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies. An unspecified number of people were also injured in the accident, they said, according to a news agency.
