2 die in Munshiganj mishap

Two people were killed and three others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Mawa Highway in Munshiganj district on Friday. A Dhaka-bound bus of 'Gangchil Paribahan' rammed into an auto-rickshaw at Chaltipara, in Sirajdikhan Upazila. The driver of the auto-rickshaw and a passenger died on the spot, Sub-Inspector of Sirajdikhan Police Station Arab Ali said. The killer bus fled the scene after the accident, the police officer said. The identities of the deceased could not be immediately known. The injured were admitted to the Sreenagar Upazila Health Complex, according to bdnews24.com.
