2 die in Munshiganj road accident

A truck driver and its helper were killed in a road accident in Gazaria Upazila in Munshiganj district on Saturday morning. The dead is Nilu Ahammed, 27, the driver of the truck, and Firoz, 19, his assistant (helper). Police quoting locals said the truck fell on them at Baliakandhi on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway, leaving them dead on the spot in the morning. Witnesses said Nilu Ahammed and Firoz were repairing the truck. The jack on which the rear part of the truck stood at that time suddenly broke down and the vehicle fell on them, leaving them dead on the spot, according to a news agency.
