2 die in road crashes in Savar

Two people have been killed in separate accidents in Savar. The victims could not be immediately identified. Police said a man was killed on the spot when a bus of the 'Grameensheba Paribahan' ran him over at Ashulia on Friday morning. Locals stopped the bus and handed over the driver to police. Around the same time, a youth was run over at Savar on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway, according to bdnews24.com
