2 die in Savar road accidents

At least two people were killed in separate road accidents at Savar Upazila in Dhaka districts on Friday. The victims could not be immediately identified. Police said a man was killed on the spot when a bus of the ‘Grameensheba Paribahan’ ran him over in Ashulia in the morning. Local people stopped the bus and handed over the driver to police. Around the same time, a youth was run over by an unidentified vehicle on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway at Savar, according to a news agency.
