2 die in truck-microbus collision

Two persons have died in a head-on collision of a truck and a micro-bus at Savar’s Baliarpur. Five more people were also injured in the accident on the Dhaka-Aricha highway on Saturday morning, said Savar Model Police Station SI Farhad Hossain. The dead have been identified as Golam Murtaza, 48, and Ataur Rahman, 50. The injured were admitted to Enam Medical College and Hospital at Savar town. Condition of one of them is stated to be critical. The dead and injured were passengers of the microbus. They were on their way back home in Sirajganj from a shrine in Sylhet. At around 2:45am, a truck collided with the microbus, leaving two dead on the spot, according to bdnews24.com.
