2 drown in Comilla pond

Two children drowned in a pond in Madhyam Asrafpur area in Comilla city on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Nusrat Jahan, two-and-half-year-old daughter of Nurul Amin and Khadizatul Kobra, 3, son of Nurul Amin’s brother Ruhul Amin. Family sources said Khadiza and Nusrat drowned slipped into the pond while playing. Later, local people recovered the floating bodies of the children from the pond, according to UNB.
