2 drug peddlers held with Phensidyl

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested two alleged drug peddlers in possession of 44 bottles of Phensidyl in Kalighat area in Sylhet city on Wednesday night. The arrested are Shuvo, 22, son of Aftab Uddin, a resident of Mehdipur Sherpur village in Nabiganj Upazila, and Abul Kalam Jamal, 25, son of Badsha Miah, a resident of Etakhola village in Madhabpur Upazila of Habiganj district. Jebedur Rahman, additional deputy commissioner of DB, said being informed, a team of the detectives raided the house of one ‘Moshahid Mansion’ around 8:00pm and arrested them. Later, the law enforcers recovered the contraband syrup from them. A case was filed under the Narcotics Control Act, according to a news agency.
