2 drug peddlers held with Yaba in Ctg

Police in a drive arrested two alleged drug peddlers along with 2,950 pieces of Yaba tablet in Shah Amanat Bridge area of Chittagong city on Thursday. The arrestees were identified as Amir Khan, 32, hailing from Shariatpur sadar upazila, and Isamul Haque Saimon, 35, hailing from Palong area of same district. M Mohshin, officer-in-charge of Baklia police station said, tipped off a team of police conducted a drive in a bus of Shyamoli Paribahan in Karnaphuli Bridge area at 4.00am and arrested the duo in possession with 2,950 pieces of Yaba tablet. A case was filed in this connection, added the OC, according to a news agency.
