2 ex-directors of UA quizzed, probe panel against NG chair

The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) interrogated Sunday two former directors of United Airways (BD) Limited over an allegation of siphoning off money, reports UNB.
An ACC team, led by its deputy director and inquiry officer Zainul Abedin Shebly, questioned them for about two hours from 10 am at the Commission's head office, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told the news agency.
The directors quizzed were M Shafiqur Rahman and Khandaker Mamun Ali.
Meanwhile, the ACC formed Sunday a two-member probe team to investigate a graft case filed against 10 persons, including Nasir Group chairman, for allegedly siphoning off about Tk 610 million (61 crore).
The ACC team members are deputy directors Zainul Abedin Shebly and Syed Iqbal Hossain.
