2 female operatives of Hizb-ut Tahrir held in city

Detectives on Tuesday arrested two female operatives of the banned Islamist outfit Hizbut Tahrir from the city's Uttara area.
"We arrested Touhida Akhter alias Urmi and Rakiba Mahmud alias Zakia from in front of RAJUK College under Uttara East Police Station around 1.30pm yesterday for their link to Hizbut Tahrir," a DB official told BSS.
“Huge number of jihadi books, magazines of the militant outfit and leaflets were also seized from their possession,” he added.
During primary interrogation the duo confessed their link to the outfit.
A case was lodged to this end.
