2 fined for making adulterated vinegar, noodles in city

A mobile court fined an adulterated noodles and vinegar making factory Tk 0.2 million in the city’s Uttar Badda area on Wednesday afternoon. The mobile court, conducted by of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) raided ‘Crespo Industries’ at Swadhinata Sarani and found that vinegar was being made with water directly collected from tap while noodles were being made without eggs. Later, the mobile court detained factory owner Aminul Islam and his brother Korban Ali, also manager of the factory. The court fined them Tk 0.1m each, in default, to suffer three months in jail, according to a news agency.
