2 forest ‘robbers’ held

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard have arrested two forest ‘robbers’ along with arms and ammunition in a drive at Boising Golakhali in Koikhali of Khulna district. The arrestees were identified as Abdul Al Mamun and Mohmmad Babu, members of ‘Rabiul Bahini’, an organised gang of forest robbers. The duo hailed from Satkhira district. Acting on a tip-off, members of Coast Guard Mongla (west zone) conducted the drive in the area and nabbed the robbers along with two pipe-guns and five bullets on Thursday, according to UNB.
