2 get life for killing boy

A court in Kishoreganj on Tuesday convicted two people and sentenced them to life term imprisonment for killing a boy in 2010. They are Masum Billah, son of Saij Uddin, and Jewel Rana, son of Amir Hossain, both residents of Shambhupur village in Bhoirab Upazila. The court also fined them Tk 10,000 each, in default to suffer 1 year more in jail. According to the prosecution, the convicts killed Robin Ahmed, son of rickshaw-puller Ramij Uddin of Shambhupur village, and left the body on a road on May 23, 2010. Ramij filed a murder case with Bhoirab Police Station and Masum and Jewel were arrested in this connection. After examining records and witnesses, District and Sessions Judge Md Sayeed pronounced the verdict in the afternoon, according to BSS.
