2 girls \\\'commit suicide\\\' in Barisal, Barguna

Two girls allegedly committed suicide in Barisal and Barguna districts on Friday. Mitu Khatun, 18, a student of Saheber Hat College and daughter of Khorshed Alam of Charkhanam village in Barisal Sadar Upazila, committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her house at Charkhanam village on Friday. In separate incident, a school girl killed herself by taking pesticides at Tutakhali village in Bamna Upazila in Barguna on Friday. The dead is Basanti Rani, 13, a class VII student of Kakchira School and daughter of Debu Ranjan Gharami of the village. The reason behind the suicides could not be known, according to a news agency.
