2 held at JU for collecting toll

Two youths were held from the Dairy gate of Jahanhirnagar University (JU) Sunday while they were collecting toll from the passenger buses on the Dhaka-Aricha highway.
The two youths were identified as Md Himel (20) and Md Yakin Hossain (18). Both of them are sons of employees of Savar Dairy Firm.
Md Himel claimed that Sanwar Hossain, a literary secretary of BCL of JU unit, directed them.
Himel also said: "Sanwar gives me some mobile numbers to contact if I face any problem during collecting toll."
Checking the mobile number JU proctor Mojibur Rahman confined all of them were JU BCL leaders and activists.
Sanwar denied the incident saying that he knows the boys but he did not tell them to collect any toll.
JU BCL secretary said: "After investigation if the incident proved JU BCL will provide exemplary punishment to the accused."
