2 held over woman\\\'s death in city

Police have arrested two persons over the death of a young woman in Dhaka's Kalyanpur area. Those arrested were Badshah Miah and Jahangir Hossain Biplob. Badsha claimed himself as the husband of the dead woman Sadia Akter, 18, while Biplob said he was Sadia’s brother-in-law, said Inspector Mozammel Haque of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Badshah told police Sadia jumped off the roof of their eight-storey building early on Wednesday. Later Badsha and his brother rushed her to the DMCH where doctors declared her dead. Inspector Haque said both have been detained because they evoked suspicion. Badsha said he had married Sadia three years ago, according to bdnews24.com.
