2 held with 0.196m Saudi riyals

Customs officials and Railway Police (GRP) in separate drives arrested two people with 196,000 Saudi riyals from the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and the Kamalapur Railway Station on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Customs officials arrested Abdul Hannan Lavlu, a resident of Ramganj in Laxmipur district, with 96,000 Saudi riyals. Besides, GRP police in a drive arrested Obaidur Rahman, 33, hailing from Anwara upazila in Chittagong district, with about 0.1 million (1 lakh) Saudi riyals.—UNB
