2 held with 1000 yaba in city

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested two suspected drug peddlers along with 1000 pieces of contraband yaba tablets from Chawlkbazar area of Dhaka city on Friday. DB men arrested two persons, Zulhas Hawlader and Mosharraf Hossain, and seized 1000 pieces of yaba tablets from their possession from Chawlkbazar area, an official release said. During primary interrogation, they confessed their link to yaba trading saying that they have involved in the trading last three years, the release said, adding that efforts are on to capture the remaining three persons of the gang. A case was lodged to this end, according to a news agency.
