2 held with 15,000 Yaba in city

Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested two drug traders with 15,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Wari thana area in Dhaka city on Saturday night. The arrestees were identified as M Yousuf Ahmed alias Shagor and M Shuvo. A team of DB police led by senior assistant commissioner of police M Snigdho Akhter conducted a drive in the area and arrested the drug traders and recovered 15,000 Yaba tablets from them, a DMP press release said. In preliminary interrogation, the two arrested persons confessed that they had been trading Yaba tablets in the city and districts, according to a news agency.
