2 held with 200,000 Indian rupees

Officials of Narcotics Control Department detained two smugglers along with 2 hundred thousand Indian rupees from a bus on Natore-Rajshahi highway in Natore Sadar upazila on Saturday afternoon. The arrested were identified as Sirajul Islam, son of Kalumuddin, of Chandpur village of Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj and Mamun, son of Nazrul Islam of the same area. Nazimuddin, inspector of the Department of Narcotics Control said being tipped-off, they halted a Dhaka-bound bus of Hanif Enterprise from Chapainawabganj and recovered Rs 200,000 searing two passengers of the bus at 2:00pm at Ekdala. The two passengers were detained, according UNB.
