2 held with 300 bottles of Phensidyl in Sylhet

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two people along with 300 bottles of Phensidyl on Jakiganj-Sylhet road in Jakiganj upazila in Sylhet on Thursday night. The arrested are: Mohammad Khokan, 35, son of Tayeb Ali of Raznagar upazila of Moulvibazar district, and Mohammad Sufian, son of Habibur Rahman of Ilabaz village in Jakiganj. BGB sources said acting on secret information, a team of BGB 42-battalion, led by its commander Sirajul Islam, conducted a drive at Munirampur and arrested the duo along with 300 bottles of Indian contraband syrup after searching a private car while it was going to Moulvibazar from Sharifganj. Later they were handed over to Jakiganj Police Station. A case was filed, according to UNB.
