2 held with 45 bullets in C\\\'nawabganj

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel arrested two young men in possession of 45 rounds of bullet from a parcel at Ranihat in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj on Friday night. The arrestees were identified as Rajit Billah Raju, 32, son of Manirul Islam, and Abdul Kaiyum, 30, son of Yusuf Mandol, residents of Kalupur of the same upazila. Major Muhammad Shafiqul Islam, commanding officer of RAB-5 said on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and intercepted a human hauler at night. Later, the law enforcers recovered 45 rounds of bullet from a parcel to be sent to Dhaka by SA Paribahan and arrested the duo. RAB members handed over them to Sadar Police Station.2, according to a news agency.
