2 held with 74 bombs in city

Police arrested two people and seized 74 handmade bombs and a large quantity of explosive materials from the house of a BNP youth leader, reports bdnews24.com.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of police Abida Sultana said police raided the house of Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal central leader Md Newaz in the early hours of Wednesday.
During the drive, seventy-four handmade bombs and a large quantity of explosives were found in the house in Lalbagh, she said.
Newaz, a Juba Dal joint secretary general, was not at home at the time of the raid, but police detained two people.
