2 held with contraband drugs

Detective Branch (DB) of police have arrested two people along with a large quantity of contraband drugs, including Phensidyl, in Shibganj upazila in Bogra district. The arrested were identified as Mamunur Rashid, 30, son of Golam Mostafa of Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur district, and Uttam Mandal, 32, son of Pabitra Mandal of Keraniganj upazila in Dhaka district. Police said on secret information, a team of DB police conducted a drive on the Rangpur-Dhaka Highway at Rahbal Bazar in the upazila and recovered 750 bottles of Phensidyl and other contraband drugs searching a bag and sack belonging to Mamun and Uttam, according to a news agency.
