2 held with fake currency in Satkhira

Police in a drive arrested two people along with 19 fake currency notes amounting to Tk 19,000 at Tentulia Bazar at Ashasuni Upazila of Satkhira district on Tuesday. The arrested are Biplob Gosh, 25, a resident of Kochua village, and Shahidul Islam, 35, a resident of Bakar village of Paikgachha Upazila of Khulna district. Being informed, a police team raided Tentulia Bazar and arrested Biplob Ghosh and Shahidul along with the counterfeit currency notes around 8:00am, according to a news agency.
