2 held with firearms in Ctg

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel arrested two people along with firearms and bullets in Raujan upazila in Chittagong district on Thursday. The arrestees were identified as Abbas, 40, and Belal, 20. Tipped-off, a team of Rab-7 conducted a drive at a house at Thakurpara village in the morning and arrested them along with one AK 47 rifle, one light gun, 61 rounds of bullet and a magazine, said ASP M Mafizul Islam, assistant director of Rab-7. Abbas is accused in four cases, including for murder and arms, Mafizul Islam added, according to a news agency.
