Police in separate drives arrested two people along with 14 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup in different areas of Rajshahi and Panchagarh districts on Monday. In Panchagarh, police arrested alleged drugs peddler, Abdus Samad, 30, son of Ismail Hossain of Senpara village of Panchagarh Sadar upazila, along with four bottles of Phensidyl from Bhaulapara area in the afternoon. In Rajshahi, police held alleged drug trader Bachchu Mia, 28, son of Chand Mia, a resident of Kharbona River area in Rajshahi city at 5pm from the area. Later, they recovered 10 bottles of Phensidyl from him, according to UNB.
