2 held with Tk2.50m fake currency notes in city

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel arrested two members of a forged currency note making syndicate along with Tk2.50 million fake currency notes and huge fake note making tools from Adabar area of Dhaka city on Thursday night. The identities of the arrestee could not be known yet. Tipped off, a team of Rab-1 conducted a drive in the area and arrested the duo along with fake currency notes amounting to Tk2.50 million and huge fake currency making tools in the night, said Rab-1 headquarters sources. Details will be available after Rab press briefing, according to a news agency.
